Entry Procedure

 

To enter the Competition, all entrants must:

During the Competition Period, visit https://www.partnerships-hub.com/hyundai-lead-the-boks/en/landing , enter the required information (first name, last name, email address, country of residence, region, date of birth, gender), within the official entry form, and submit the fully completed entry form. When all foregoing steps of the entry process are complete, entrants will automatically receive one (1) entry in the Competition.

If an entrant completes the optional survey, they will be given ten (10) additional entries into the Competition. Completion of any survey is entirely optional, is not required to enter the Competition, and does not affect an entrant’s chances of being selected as a winner.

If an entrant completes a Hyundai application for finance form (through https://www.hyundai.co.za/finance/apply-for-finance/ ) on any vehicle before 28th June, they will be given ten (10) additional entries into the Competition

If an entrant completes the purchase of any Hyundai vehicle from a registered Hyundai dealership in the Reublic of South Africa (as listed here: https://www.hyundai.co.za/find-a-dealer) before 28th June, they will be given fifty (50) additional entries into the Competition.

 

 

Number of Entries

Judging Criteria/Prize Draw

Qualifying Participants will be included in a list of entrants that will be automatically entered into a lucky draw to determine Prize winners.

Winning entries shall be determined by means of a ‘lucky draw’ (by randomiser) which shall take place within 96 hours of the conclusion of the Competition Period.

 

Prize/s

There will be a total of four (4) winners, each of whom may bring one (1) guest, resulting in a total of eight (8) attendees. Each winner will travel in a lead vehicle as part of the team convoy from the hotel to the stadium ahead of the South Africa vs Scotland Test Match on Saturday, 11 July 2026 at Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria, while their guest will enjoy an exclusive locker room experience on match day. Both the winner and their guest will also receive general admission tickets to the Test Match.

Total Value of Prize Pool

The estimated total value of the prize pool is R15,000.

Notification of Winners

Prize winners will be notified via email and/or phone call within seven (7) working days of the winning entries having been drawn[GW1] .

 

Claiming the Prize

No Prize will be awarded unless or until verification of each winning entry is made by the Promoter and the Promoter is satisfied, in its absolute discretion, that the criteria for a Winning Entry and the Competition’s Terms and Conditions have been met. Should the Participant not qualify to receive a Prize, the Participant acknowledges that he/she shall forefit the Prize.

 

The Promoter reserves the right to withhold the Prize until it is entirely satisfied that the claimant of the Prize is the bona fide and qualified winner. The Promoter may require you to provide it with additional information as it may reasonably require (including proof of identity and/or proof of residency) in order to process and to facilitate your acceptance and/or use of a Prize.

 

 

Special Conditions

Hyundai will be responsible for attributing additional entries for completed finance applications and car purchases. The user’s information used for purchase/finance application must match the information used to enter the Competition.


CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

General Terms and Conditions

1.       These general terms and conditions of entry (“T&Cs”) incorporate and must be read together with the Specific Terms for the Competition. The Specific Terms prevail to the extent of any inconsistency with these T&Cs. 

2.       The “Promoter” is the party identified as promoter in the Specific Terms.
The “Organiser” is the party identified as organiser in the Specific Terms, acting on behalf of the Promoter for the purposes of administering the Competition, receiving and processing entries, coordinating winner selection, contacting winners, arranging prize fulfilment and performing related administrative functions.

3.       Any capitalised terms used in these T&Cs have the meaning given in the Specific Terms or as defined in these T&Cs.  

4.       By entering the Competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by these T&Cs and the applicable Specific Terms.

Eligibility

5.       Entry to the Competition is open to individuals who satisfy the Entry Restrictions and citizens or permanent residents  resident in the Territory at the time of the Competition Period, winner selection and Test Match day.

6.       Directors, management, employees, officers and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, the Organiser or of Prize Sponsor, the agencies or organisations associated with the Competition are ineligible to enter. 

7.       Unless the Specific Terms state otherwise, entrants must be 18 years or older.

8.       If the Specific Terms permit entry by persons under 18, entry by such persons is only valid if the entrant has the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The Promoter or Organiser may require proof of such consent at any time.

Entry

9.       The Competition will be conducted during the Competition Period.

10.    To enter the Competition, entrants must complete the Entry Procedure during the Competition Period. Entries are deemed to have been received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission by the entrant.

11.    Entrants may enter the Competition up to the Number of Entries. Multiple entries (where permitted) must be submitted separately and each separately meet the requirements specified in the Entry Procedure.

12.    The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any communication network or for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted, or misdirected entries.

Entry Content

13.    Incomplete and ineligible entries will be deemed invalid. Entries will be deemed invalid if they breach these T&Cs, any other rules or guidelines prescribed by the Promoter or are submitted using any unauthorised technology or automated system.

14.    Where the Entry Procedure involves the submission of a photo, video or any other kind of artistic work, all entrants grant to the Promoter a non-exclusive, non-revocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish and display the entry in any media or distribution method, including publication on websites and internet applications without restriction and without making any payment to the entrant. Materials provided with entries will not be returned to entrants.

15.    For Competitions conducted via social media, an entrant’s entry must not include:

a.   The name or social media handle of any other person without that person’s express consent. Entrants warrant that if any such content is included, they have obtained the express consent of the relevant person to tag them in relation to the Competition; or

b.   any content that contravenes any law, infringes the rights of any person or is obscene, offensive, potentially defamatory, discriminatory, indecent, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate (which includes, without limitation, any content involving malice, violence or swearing).

The Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, edit, modify, delete, remove, or take down any part of an entrant’s entry if it considers it inappropriate.

Judging

16.    Where the Competition is determined by random draw, the draw will be conducted by or under the supervision of an independent person, or otherwise in a manner that is fair, transparent and capable of audit. The Promoter may select reserve winners at the same time and by the same method as the initial winners.

17.    Winners will be notified as specified in the Specific Terms. The Promoter will make reasonable attempts to contact the entrants that have been identified as eligible winners using the information provided by the entrant at time of entry. If the eligible winner cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts to do so, or if the entrant fails to claim the Prize within the time specified by the Promoter (or a reasonable time) or if a winning entry is deemed not to comply with the Conditions of Entry, the non-complying or non-responsive entry will be discarded, and a reserve winner will be selected, at the sole discretion of the Promoter, who reserves the right not to choose an alternative winner. 

Prizes

18.    The Prize is specified in the Specific Terms. The Total Value of the Prize Pool is specified in the Specific Terms.

19.    The Prize is subject to any restrictions specified in the Specific Terms and is further subject to any terms and conditions that the Prize Sponsor may stipulate.

20.    Where any Prize winner is a minor the award of the Prize is subject to the Promoter’s safeguarding policies and is conditional on the minor’s parent or legal guardian completing a written consent, indemnity, acknowledgment of risk and information form, as reasonably required by the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the sole and absolute right, at any time and without liability, to withdraw, suspend or terminate a Prize awarded to a minor where the Promoter reasonably considers such action necessary for safety, welfare, operational or regulatory reasons.

21.    If any Prize is provided by a third party (“Prize Sponsor”), that Prize will remain the property of the relevant Prize Sponsor pending redemption by the eligible winner. The Promoter does not own any Prize provided by a Prize Sponsor, is not responsible for supplying such Prize except to the extent expressly stated in the Specific Terms and does not act as an agent for the Prize Sponsor in relation to delivery of that Prize.

22.    If a Prize includes vouchers, the vouchers are only valid for the period set out in such voucher and are subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the provider of the voucher. If a Prize includes tickets, the tickets are only valid for the event or match set out in the Specific Terms and are subject to any terms and conditions applicable to the use of such tickets. Once awarded, the Promoter is not liable for any voucher or ticket that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.

23.    The Prize only includes items as stated in the Specific Terms and all other expenses incurred in taking up the prize are excluded and are the responsibility of the prize winner.

24.    Prizes must be claimed in accordance with the instructions set out in the Specific Terms.

25.    All advertisements depicting the Prizes and Prize descriptions are illustrative rather than definitive.

26.    Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and, except for cash prizes, cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. The value of each Prize/Total Value of the Prize Pool is accurate as at the commencement of the Competition. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of a Prize after that date. If a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute it for another item of equal or higher value.

27.    Ownership of Prizes passes from the relevant Prize Sponsor direct to winners and not via the Promoter or Organiser.

28.    Winners are responsible for their own personal safety and protection once they have claimed the Prize. The Promoter and/or Prize Sponsor are not liable for any injury or loss suffered as a result of the Prize that was awarded, and are hereby indemnified as such.

  1. The Promoter may invite a winner to participate in publicity relating to the Competition, including photographs, video content, interviews, social media content or other promotional activity. Participation in publicity is voluntary, not subject to any royalties or payment, and is not a condition of entry, winner selection or prize fulfilment. A winner may decline any such request. If a winner agrees to participate in publicity, the Promoter may require the winner to sign a separate release or consent form.   

Privacy

30.    The Promoter and/or Organiser will collect and process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (“POPIA”).

31.    The Promoter and/or Organiser will collect and process personal information provided by entrants for the purposes of administering the Competition, receiving entries, verifying eligibility, selecting and contacting provisional winners, awarding and fulfilling prizes, arranging delivery or travel where applicable, preventing fraud or misuse, complying with legal and regulatory obligations, retaining records, responding to queries or complaints and, where the entrant has opted in, sending direct marketing communication.

32.    The personal information processed may include name, contact details, age or date of birth, country or province of residence, entry details, identity or eligibility verification information and any other information reasonably required for the Competition or prize fulfilment. If the Specific Terms permit minors to enter, the Promoter and/or Organiser may process the personal information of minors only to the extent reasonably necessary to administer the Competition, verify eligibility, obtain or confirm parental/guardian consent, award and fulfil prizes, and comply with applicable law.

33.    The Promoter and Organiser will implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, misuse, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

34.    For purposes of POPIA, the Promoter is the responsible party in respect of personal information processed for the Competition. The Organiser acts as an operator to the extent that it processes personal information on behalf of the Promoter for the administration of the Competition unless it determines its own purposes and means of processing.

35.    Personal information may be shared with the Promoter, Organiser, Prize Sponsor, fulfilment partners, technical service providers, professional advisers and other service providers only to the extent reasonably necessary for the purposes described in these T&Cs.

36.    Prize Sponsor and selected third parties of the Promoter may require winners to provide personal information directly to them for the purposes of claiming, redeeming or receiving a Prize. Any personal information provided directly to a Prize Sponsor or partner will be processed in accordance with that party’s own privacy policy. Winners are responsible for reviewing and satisfying themselves with the applicable privacy policy before providing personal information to any such party. The Promoter and Organiser are not responsible for the privacy practices of any Prize Sponsor or third party.

37.    Personal information may be transferred to or stored in countries outside South Africa. Where this occurs, the Promoter and/or Organiser will take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place as required by applicable privacy laws.

38.    Direct marketing is optional and is not a condition of entry. Entrants may enter the Competition without consenting to direct marketing. Where an entrant opts in to receive marketing from the Promoter or any selected third party, the Promoter and/or Organiser may share the entrant’s personal information with that party for the purpose of facilitating the entrant’s receipt of such communications, and that party may process the entrant’s personal information for that purpose in accordance with applicable law. Each marketing communication will identify the sender and include a reasonable mechanism to opt out or unsubscribe.

39.    Personal information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in these T&Cs, including legal, regulatory, audit, tax, dispute and record-keeping purposes, and will thereafter be deleted, de-identified or securely destroyed.

40.    Entrants may request access to, correction or deletion of their personal information, object to processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or lodge a complaint with the relevant privacy regulator. 41.    Where entry to the Competition takes place through or involves the use of a social media platform, entrants acknowledge that the relevant social media platform may process their personal information in accordance with its own terms of use and privacy policy. The Promoter and Organiser are not responsible for the privacy practices of any social media platform.

42.    The Promoter and/or Organiser may collect and process personal information that is publicly available from, or submitted by the entrant through, the relevant social media platform for the purposes of administering the Competition, verifying entries, contacting entrants or winners, awarding prizes, preventing fraud or misuse, and complying with legal or regulatory obligations. This may include the entrant’s name, username, social media handle, profile image, entry content, comments, tags, direct messages and any other information reasonably required for the Competition.

43.    Entrants must not submit, tag or disclose any other person’s personal information, image, social media handle or other identifying information as part of an entry unless they have that person’s permission to do so

General

44.    To the extent that the Competition is conducted in South Africa or is open to South African residents, the Competition is intended to comply with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.

45.    The Promoter and/or Organiser will retain such records as may be required under applicable law in relation to the Competition, including copies of these T&Cs, entry records, winner selection records, prize records and draw records.

46.    The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these T&Cs.

47.    To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Promoter, the Organiser, their agents involved in administering the Competition and the Prize Sponsor will not be responsible or liable for: (a) any error, omission or inaccuracy in the description or illustration of any Prize; (b) the non-availability, loss, interception, interference with, late receipt of, or damage to, any Prize or Prize-related communication; (c) any representation, warranty, condition or guarantee in respect of a Prize, except to the extent that such liability cannot be excluded by law; or (d) any costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising directly or indirectly from an entrant’s participation in the Competition, participation in any Competition-related activity, or receipt, use or misuse of any Prize.

48.    By entering the Competition and/or accepting or using any Prize, entrants release and hold harmless the Promoter, the Organiser, their agents involved in administering the Competition and the Prize Sponsor from any claim, loss, damage, cost or expense arising directly or indirectly from their participation in the Competition, any Competition-related activity, or the receipt, use or misuse of any Prize.

49.    Nothing in these T&Cs limits, excludes or modifies, or purports to limit, exclude or modify, any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited, excluded or modified under applicable law, including under applicable consumer protection law.

50.    Subject to the preceding clause, the Promoter, Organiser, their agents and the Prize Sponsor will not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity or loss arising from circumstances beyond their reasonable control.

51.    If for any reason any aspect of this Competition does not or is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, or invalidate any affected entries.

52.    The Promoter’s decisions in connection with the Competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

54.    All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republicof South Africa. Nothing in these T&Cs excludes any mandatory consumer protection or privacy rights that apply in an entrant’s country of residence and cannot lawfully be excluded.

55.    Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights in terms of these T&Cs at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

56.   Should any part of these T&Cs be or become invalid, the invalid provisions shall be considered severed from these T&Cs and  shall not affect the validity of the remaining T&Cs. Any invalid clause shall be replaced by an economically comparable provision.

57. The Organisers and/or Promoters reserve the right to amend these T&Cs at any time and for whatsoever reason should they deem it necessary, without notice to the public.
